Hi,
I am Maria. I was born and raised in Russia. When I was 19, I left my country and moved to France to study law at the University of Strasbourg. Back then, I couldn’t even imagine how life-changing would be that movement.
Thirst for knowledge and discovery pushed me to change my location several times, so I have lived in 4 countries (Russia, France, the Netherlands, and Germany).
Every country from the list had a huge influence on me, my way of thinking, and seeing the things – and this to the point, that I can’t identify myself with one single place anymore.
I also happen to be married to a Mexican, so even if I have not lived in Mexico, its traditions, mentality, and language are very present in my life.
At the moment, I settled down in Bonn, Germany, where I work as a lawyer in an international NGO.
